We are excited that Scott Forstie of IBM Db2 fame will be joining us for our first meeting back in quite a while.

IBM i Access Client Solutions (ACS) - Every database feature explained and demonstrated

ACS contains a bevy of Db2 for i features and functions. Scott had a hand in dreaming up and In this live and interactive session, Scott will attempt to cover every single Database feature found within ACS. You'll be getting a fire hose sized dose of can-do knowledge and know-how.


 What is SYSTOOLS and how can you leverage it?

Db2 for i provides useful tools and examples in the SYSTOOLS schema. Come to this session to learn what shiny gems lie within this unopened treasure chest. You need not be an SQL programmer to gain tremendous value from SQL tools!


 Data Security on IBM i

This session will include an overview of technologies that can be used to answer the tough data security questions and satisfy the important mandates for securing data. The session includes enhancements made at IBM i 7.3 and IBM i 7.4 to allow you to identify and safely remove excess authority. Technologies discussed at this session will include: Authority Collection, Consumption of Journal data using SQL, Row Permissions, Column Masks, Guardium for IBM i, Securing columns from Database Engineers, Function Usage, and more.
